Should we prebuild Copernicus's Observatory in Memphis?

Build a marketplace first because we don't want it to go in disorder while building the wonder.

A Colosseum is currently being built in Memphis. If this poll passes, the Observatory shall be built after it.

With the Sistene Chapel, a Cathedral will be the most advatages "happiness" improvement we could biuld. I can't see why we should build a marketplace as that will not help us now. A Colosseum will only help a little. Only the Cathedral will give us the immediate benefit we are looking for. It's a no-brainer.

We've got 158 shields stored up in Memphis. Copernicus is 400 shields. That puts us about 25 turns away from getting Copernicus if we don't build the cathrdral first. We'll have astronomy in 4 turns and will be able to import a few luxuries to combat unhappiness in Memphis. We should hold off on the cathedral and pre-build Copernicus NOW!

I agree, I should find who the Govenor that has Mephis and ask him to switch to a Palace Prebuild.

What about the will of the people who voted in this poll? Although I agree that we should pre-build now, the poll results say to build that cathedral.

I have opened a new discussion thread about this. (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59558) It could be that the people who voted to build the happiness improvement may change their minds since the situation is now clearer than it was when we first began talking about this idea. We may not be able to build the cathedral and Copernicus for another civ may cascade to it.
