I d/l and installed GOTM 21.
All of my saved games and new games have wrong icons!

Wheat is now rubber and dye looks like a clam! Help!

If you must post a thread, include what versions and game (PTW or not) you are playing. I'm guessing you're on vanilla civ and you forgot you need to swap the resource files in and out. There is a description in the readme that came with your download.

I attempted to play GOTM21 with all the mods, v.1.29f, got stomped, and decided to resume my other game (pre-GOTM). I've got oysters everywhere, but no grapes, etc. I have attempted in vain to find a readme file that helps explain what I should do to get all back to right without losing the new resources.

You could try running the GOTM21 install again. One of the options is to put your resources back the way they were.

I think I understand now - I can't "update" all my games to use these other resources - just with the GOTM games.

You need to go back and read the readme.txt file that came in the install - I think that the answers on how to restore the icons are in there (I think you need to copy the icon file from a backup directory). Hope this helps. :)
