My Brother and I have always loved the Civ games, Now I am on the west coast and he is in Atlanta,

Can Civ III for Mac, play over a Internet Connection (DSL to DSL),

Also can we play against just each other or do you have to play through the web in those big multiplayer games.

you need the Play the World expansion for multiplayer, and its not available for Mac.

You need both civ 3 and PTW installed too play. You can play the expansion single player as well.

(you wouldn't find me anywere near that bar :D)

considering the new conquest expansion will have all that PTW has, likely never.

You need to have the disk on each machine when you play multi player.

Conquests expansion is the newest expansion. It will be out on PC in October, and a Mac version hasn't even been announced.

Until either Conquests or PTW comes out for Mac, there is no way to play multiplayer on a mac.

snape, you can play Succession Games (SGs) and Open Succession Games (OSGs) w/ PC'ers if you upgrade to the mac beta 1.29_2 patch.
