Does anyone here play Titan? I can't get enough of it myself. You can download a JAVA-based game called Colossus. I don't have a link right now, but a search for it ought to turn it up.

I'd love to play Titan/Colossus against a human...

Ok, I found a link (http://colossus.sourceforge.net/) . :goodjob:

This is cool. Thank you for the link. I've played this gem for nigh on twenty years. I don't often have time for any email games but let me see how this computer version works.

If you've never played, try downloading it. Enjoy.

You are most welcome. I scoured earth via e-Bay and bought a copy of the boardgame for the princely sum of US$135 last year, and two of my friends play it with me irregularly. Finding it in computer form on the web was a blessing.

The AI is fairly ruthless and rather good, plus it cheats enormously, getting 6's on the first turn, and 1's whenever near a tower with alarming frequency. Expect it to have at least 3 Warlocks in it's Titan stack after six turns.

This site has a couple of links that allow for playing the game by e-mail. While I've always found PBEM games tediously slow, it may help you meet your fix.

There's also quite a few reviews, stats and strategy ideas for Titan.

Titan the old AH classic has gone to print. This Valley Games product looks awesome, and they offer free titan figurines for you battle maps if you preorder.

Well almost 6 months after pre-ordering, I finally received my copy of the Titan reprint.

I own well over 100 wargames -- this has to be the highest quality game by far. The artwork, details and components are spectacular. The parts are heavy duty. Heck, there's artwork on the back of the board. It weighs nearly 9.5 lbs.

If you loved this game, or just want to try a playable "beer and pretzels" wargame, at $70 US, this Canadian reprint of the Avalon Hill classic is really worth the price.
