what is your favorite game, besides civ? do you stick to the strategy genre, or do you play others as well? please do NOT start arguements over which system is best or worst. go find another thread to do that. this thread is all about the software;)

i generaly like the strategy genre, but i often play RPGs and FPSs. right now my favorite game is The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind.

Even including Civ, Deus Ex is my favourite game. I hope it will be replaced in a few months when the sequel comes out. Speaking of which I have to order a new graphics card tonight to even be able to play it.

Presently... Morrowind! :D Though I hadn't touched it in a while... :)

Nah, not anymore. ;) It really depends. But something that I've liked and played for quite a long time now is Unreal Tournament. Tactical Ops (the Counter Strike version for UT) is much fun too! Perhaps even better.

Recently I've discovered The Sims too and like it very much, but I think not for long. :rolleyes:

Hmmm, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and it's expansion pack MOHAA: Spearhead, Battlefield 1942 (expansion: Road to Rome, Secret Weapons of WWII [coming soon]), and Hearts of Iron. As you can tell, I am a big WW2 game buff, no matter the genre. Also, Unreal Tournament, Warcraft III, and Counter-Strike are good. I'm sure Battlefield Vietnam will be added to this list when it comes out next fall (gah! Can't wait that long!).

Unreal Tournament is good, but is too easy, even with tactical ops(mutiplayer). Right now its got to be either Battlefield 1942 or Fifa 2003 :)

I'm not trying to be Big-headed or anything, but I did play against Godlike bots... and won pretty much all the time. I would play with 16 in total, on CTF, (including me). If I was going to do deathmatch I would reduce it to about 10. :)

Multiplayer, no it can't be easier for both, just for me :mischief:

I agree with you, tactical ops is completely different from UT. I played UT with Instagib... I couldn't take you up on that challenge though, cause I don't play games on the internet anymore. Its too addictive :(

Also among my favourites are Civ2, Blitzkrieg, Commandos 2 and Battlefield 1942.

console: Dynasty Warriors 4, any game that girls can play and enjoy, and is shown on a teen drama and still be cool is worth its weight in gold.

COmputer game: Hearts of Iron, but Europa Universalis II is a close second.
