I'm looking for someone (or someone's) to play a PBEM game with, I can get a turnover of 12hours MAXIMUM and often faster, depnding upon when I get replies. More at weekends.

ok, this was my first time and was expecting to have to wait for people :o
thing is, I go away for last week of August, wasn't expecting to be ready to play by then :)

so, i see three ways to do this
i) play this week, then wait till I get back from hols, 1st September
ii) start after I get back
iii) u 2 and ne1 who wants play on their own,

what d'ya both think?

Hmm.... I'd say start now, take the week break, then continue.

thats ok with me too...I'm playin 2 others right now too, and one is pretty much daily, the other takes a few days...so I probably wouldn't notice anyway :rolleyes:

world size: small? (or tiny?)
pangaea
temperate
wet
5 billion years old
sedentary barbs? - i dont mind here
level - regent/monarch? - is ya choice as I sed, I will (try) to play on any level.

ok by me...is it just the 3 of us, or are we going to use the maximum number of players for the map size with AI as fill-ins?

I can host if you don't want to. I've done it once before.

What I would prefer:

Small Map: 6 players (3 AI)
Continents
Temperate
Wet
4 billion
Passive Barbs
Regent (No surprise here ;) )

My civ choices would be:
1. Egypt
2. China
3. France

I haven't set up before, but will try if needed.

regentman, those map choices r fine by me if sourboy likes too. One thing, continents makes game much longer but Ive never played before so don't know how long they last normally anyways :)

the civ choices - u do mean ai civs yes? then they're fine by me.

Small map
Continents
Temp, Wet, 4 Billion, 70% water
Regent level
3 AI's

Recommended turn order (according to order of posts on here):

Espirito: ?? (pick Civ or go random?)
sourboy: Ottomans
RegentMan: Egypt? (I assume your list was your Civ preferences)
AI: ?? (random Civs, unless you want to pick some...?)

If this is correct, then:
1) post or Private Message your email address (we can edit it off this thread after)
2) confirm settings
3) pick your Civ if you want

Once confirmed here, I'll create the game & send a confirming email to you both with our email addresses!

Oh, and Espirito - the game will take a while to play no matter what...I just hope everyone can post relatively quickly...

i wud like 2 be Arabs if possible, if not then Iroquois.

cud we have Carthage or Celts as one of the AI cos they always seem to like me, but if u 2 disagree then I dont mind at all.

are we playing a straight game, all possible wins, culture flip enabled, but no regicide/elimination/v points/ctp yes?

I dont mind what order, I think u 2 are American yes? Well I'm England, and after hols will be doing turns 5-7 am BST(or GMT after fall) and 5-10pm on weekdays as I have school so I dont know whether u can arrange it so it runs smoothly? I dont mind the order.
