View Full Version : Up for a game of Pong? CivCube Aug 29, 2003, 08:39 PM Here you are  : http://www.liquid.se/pong.html Alex the Great Aug 29, 2003, 10:44 PM Fun:goodjob: But why does it say "something to do while you wait"? Is there another game:confused: CivCube Aug 29, 2003, 10:45 PM They probably mean that it's a simple time-killer. naervod Aug 30, 2003, 12:45 AM Wow, this is harder than I expected. My highest score is 186 (4 wins). I guess this takes a little bit of practice. Alex the Great Aug 30, 2003, 01:15 PM After about 4 rounds I got 240 or thereabouts. It is tough. Now up to 306, I'm almost tying. Archer 007 Aug 30, 2003, 04:13 PM Man, that game is difficult! Plexus Aug 30, 2003, 04:40 PM Hard game... 354 is my top score. naervod Aug 30, 2003, 04:47 PM 202 now. :( I guess I gotta keep on practicing. Gainy Aug 30, 2003, 04:49 PM After 2 tries I got a top score of 269 :D It's annoying, cause when you move the pad down to the bottom it sticks (likewise for any of the otehr sides) If it weren't for this i'd be alot better :mischief: Alex the Great Aug 30, 2003, 04:58 PM Hey this game is rigged:mad: For every round that the computer wins, it gains 40 poang, points, for every round that I win I get only 20 points:mad: Plexus Aug 30, 2003, 04:59 PM Yea, I noticed that... it sucks. CivCube Aug 30, 2003, 05:25 PM That is kinda stupid.... High score of 394. :D WildFire Aug 30, 2003, 10:50 PM Pointless. now CURVE PONG! Thats a good waste of time. naervod Aug 31, 2003, 01:02 AM It's pointless, but a excellent time-killer. New high score of 264 WildFire Aug 31, 2003, 01:11 AM Curve pong (http://www.homestead.com/rhinoxsis/zFcurveball.html) So much better :p naervod Aug 31, 2003, 01:33 AM I dunno, both are pretty good. Curve pong is more interesting, but regular is more of a challenge. Alex the Great Sep 02, 2003, 08:47 PM Wow! I beat the computer in wins. 371 to 4-something points[dance] [party] [dance]. Maybe it's just giving me a handicap;) naervod Sep 02, 2003, 11:12 PM It does that... When the computer wins, it gets 40 points, but when you win you get 20. Just take the number of computer wins x20 and subtract it from the computer score to get the real score (ie; points for hitting the ball and the 20 pints for a win). Matrix Sep 03, 2003, 03:40 PM Table tennis (http://www.playplay.be/top5/top5_game_3.htm) is somewhat similar. ;) I like this a bit more than "Pong". |
