Is there any information out there on how the 3D units in Civ3 can be edited, and new units created?

I'm trying to get a headstart.

In the future I hope to post new art here on the CFC for everyone to download.

I got an E-mail from Dan M. who leads me to believe that modifying the 3D units is actualy more 2D :lol: (confused yet?)

The game does more with the image that you don't have to.

I will post more as I get more clarification, for any mod creators out there.
