VanOranje Oct 17, 2001, 09:57 AM If you could pick a time period you could visit what will it be and what will you bring with you to survive that time, say two weeks??
I cant wait for the answers.

willemvanoranje Oct 17, 2001, 11:03 AM To the most important happening in history for the world ofcourse:
June 13th 1986, VU-hospital Amsterdam: I was born!
Or maybe to:
the future history, April 4 2063 (some people will understand why)

Personally I would love to meet Einstein, Stanley Kubrick and Jezus between the time he was I believe 12 and 30, This part of his life is unknown Perhaps he was a really naughty guy.;)
Sodak Oct 18, 2001, 09:17 AM Maybe to Rome, circa 100ad. I'd pack a toga, toothpaste, and a grin. Woo hoo! Decadence for two weeks, then back home to rest.
Juize Oct 19, 2001, 12:52 PM My favourite time period is just before lunch. :D ;)
Kublai-Khan Oct 26, 2001, 10:27 PM IŽd like to be
in the expedition of Marco Polo
or Ibn Battuta
that would be so cool
from the mediterrrain to China in the middle ages..
But i need more than 2 weeks
i need like 5 years.
xeven_god_of_helsibahr Oct 26, 2001, 10:40 PM I would go back to Rome near the time of Julius. I would bring a small gas camping stove, batteries, my cd player (with Cd's), and an M-15 with a backpack full of bullet magazines.
sonorakitch Oct 28, 2001, 02:44 AM Interesting question.
For me, it would either be American West in late 1800's (would have loved to see the old frontier towns) or see what the Incas really did at Machu Picchu. Both would be wonderful for me.
Going to the old west, I would probably need a lot of guns!
Going to Machu Picchu, definetly a camera and some good hiking boots.
