Hi All

I am new to GOTM and only have civ 1.29, not PTW. I am trying to download the full install package (18 Mb) but the server always tells me it is not available no matter when I try to grab it. I believe I need this so as to enable all of the other new PTW civs and units? Please advise. I am on US Pacific time if that helps.

Thanks for this - I got that self-installing utility from GOTM 21 which was a breeze. What zip extractor do you recommend? I used WinZip (eval version) and now when I try to load up the medal play match of Perisans 6-2 it has my civ 1.29 has a problem reading the eqworker.ini file and then kills itself.
Any ideas?

Be careful here on mixing the install processes. Game6-2 plays on Civ3v1.29 on the Gotm21 game pack only.

The eqworker.ini crash should not occur if you have pointed the auto installer to the correct directory where your Civilization3.exe program is properly installed.

There are some steps we can lead you through to help you diagnose if you clicked on the autoinstaller properly.

I've been following the instructions to try and play GOTM25 (though now I don't think I'll have time to achieve the deadline). When I try to install GOTM21, I get this error message: "C:\Program Files(etc)\Art\resources.pcx doesn't exist"

Check that you point the install directory to the right directory - the one with civilization3.exe in it. :)

I got it sorted already. An XP featurette I think. All ready for GOTM26 now.

I was having the same problem. I solved it by downloading and installing everything that was installed in GOTM 21.
