Thumpper's “Expansion Exposed” 4 Player - Free for All Elimination Tournament
Monday Night at 8:00 EDT. 10-20-03
on Civ3players Ladder
2 Rounds of 75 minutes - each played on a Thumpper Certified “Fair” Map*
I think that I have come up with some good maps.
Challenging the best - giving a chance to the less!
Every player is guaranteed a fertile start location, adequate resources/luxuries and ‘tileage’ similar to other players.
“EXPANSION EXPOSED” - Maps will be set to "Pre-explored"
What that means is that you will see the whole map from the start.
Every time that your opponents settle a city - you will see it.
(Unfortunately, they will see yours too!)
You will see every cultural expansion.
You will know when you are getting behind and why!
Note that you won’t see strategic resources until you research the proper tech.
For some reason, you don’t see goody huts until you explore them. Remember, they may be still out there!
Hosts should place the maps in their CIV3PTW Scenario directory.
Since players can see the whole map they may just want to check out the .bmp files to check resource location.
Or you can open the map with your Civ3xEdit (located in CIV3PTW folder).
Study the maps and strategize.
Please Enjoy!
