bipolar Jan 24, 2004, 07:28 AM That looks great!!:goodjob:
One question: The mf-units work exactly the same way like "normal" units do!?
CCJ39 Jan 24, 2004, 08:46 AM thanks :)
yes (only the animation-file <.flc> is different), you also can replace another unit-animation with this one
KaNick Jan 31, 2004, 01:26 AM The download isn't working. When I try to open it I just get a page with giberish on it.
Edit: Nevermind, I tried internet explorer and it worked fiine.
CCJ39 Jan 31, 2004, 04:53 AM hm, never heard befor about such problems, which browser are using?
I also modified the link, maybe you can try it again with your browser (IE works with both links)
Gogf Jan 31, 2004, 07:16 AM The same thing happens to me sometimes. But, it works fine when I click "Save link to disk."
CCJ39 Jan 31, 2004, 08:20 AM hm... thanks
Gogf Jan 31, 2004, 04:10 PM Deleted.
papajohns Feb 10, 2004, 09:51 PM not to advertise my own work...but u should do the essex ones :)
they seemed to go out in groups rather than the present supercarriers
Gogf Feb 11, 2004, 03:20 PM Okay, CCJ39, the error was with Mozilla Firebird (and maybe other browsers), but it is now fixed in Firebird (now called Firefox).
CCJ39 Feb 11, 2004, 03:23 PM ok thanks, I tried it with Netscape4.7 and Mozilla from univerity and IE6SP1 from home without any problems
vsaiyan Feb 26, 2004, 09:30 AM Carriers wouldnt tactically travel in pairs, for the most part. It wouldn't be safe. If that position was attacked, then you lose TWO very expensive/valuable ships, instead of just one. But there is one unit I would really like to see. You could call it a fleet, or wutever. But it could have one carrier, and support for the carrier! That would be a cool MF unit :-D
jzsf Mar 20, 2004, 09:17 AM I agree with vsaiyan :goodjob:
eric_A May 10, 2004, 09:53 AM Those ships are not WW2 carriers, they look like
modern Nimitz class carriers.
joebasstard May 10, 2004, 10:38 PM I agree that they don't quite look like WWII carriers. See
www.navsource.org/archives/02/09.htm
CCJ39 May 11, 2004, 12:43 AM I only created a MF-unitversion of this unit (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=397484&postcount=337) by Papajohns
so discuss with Papajohns instead of me about WW2-unit or not :D ;)
