I am looking for a mod that turns the stand-alone single player version of Civ III Classic into the PTW Version. I'm specifically looking to to add the stock market, gruellia units, and internet wonder to the original Civ 3. If I can figure out how to do that without anyone's help, I'll post the mod here. Rather, I imagine however that someone has already done it...it's just a matter of *finding* their work.

Wrong forum... this should be asked in the main Creation & Customisation.

But anyway, Civ 3 and PTW are different, PTW has more features so any mod would be half-way there. You could try DYP, that mod is what everyone seems to recommend. But IMO you should get Conquests when it comes out (very soon in like two or so weeks) as it has everything from PTW plus a whole heap more.

You cannot. It is forbidden : it would to easy to wait for the mod and not by PTW.
If you want PTW stuff, buy it.

You assume the worst when it was not necessary. This has nothing to do with piracy. I already own PTW. The performance of PTW on my machine is drastically poorer than Civ 3 Original, so I perfer the original.

may be it's piracy, but what is wrong with that?

2. Its against the forum rules.

3. You might aswell say its the same as stealing.

btw a mod should move this thread.

btw a mod should move this thread. 1. Agreed. It is illegal.

2. Again, agreed. We have a zero tolerance policy here about piracy.

3. Might as well? It is stealing. And those who seriously ask questions like Goblin king's don't seem to last here long ....

BTW: Thread moved. ;)
