Description

C3C intermittently crashes when switching to F3 screen.

Steps
~~~~~
1. load scenario 2, rise of Rome
2. view victory conditions
3. view power settings
4. press F3

"Crash" != XP crashes, but C3C exits back to user background screen, not to user login screen.

Doesn't happen every time. In 100 turns, happened 3 times. Might be a fat finger problem of hitting both F3 and F4 at the same time.

Have not tried fat finger on purpose. Sometimes works and other times crashes.

Don't know severity of bug. Don't know if extends beyond one user or beyond XP multi user install.

I am so sure when this happened to me (about 5 times in 7 games) I did NOT press F3 and F4 simultaniously.

With me C3C just ends; as if you choose "End Game" and it exits and shows my Desktop. I use Win XP.

I haven't had it sufficiently, but it seems that it happens after some 3 or 4 hours playing and more often when I load a game (I save / load when I go to bed, to work or dinner).

PTW never did this and neither did Vanilla.

For what it's worth; I just opened the save again and it didn't crash. It seems it's a moment in time or randomly generated or a special key-combination that triggers it. It just looks like pressing <Esc> and <Y> (to confirm) in 1.

Press F3,me too.

May be a problem with the early scenarios. I have not experienced the bug in the middle to late scenarios or first epic game.

Of course I have been more carefully about not pressing multiple keys on the
top keyboard line so problem could still be there.

I was playing the epical game, with the Portuguese and wend I clik on F1... SAYONARA game!!! :(

I dont use F3 anymore, it has crashed more times than I care to remember after hitting the F3 key, bit of a nuisance but starting the same turn over and over is worse.

Yep I've experienced this bug in epic game on Windows XP. hit F3 and game crashes with no error message.

Update-- epic game, end of turn, wait at end of turn active. Press F4 running winxp, and game crashes.
