Just wondering if there will ne a map editor included in civ3 or just a map randomizer?????

Would be cool to make countries exactly the shape and size and terrain you want!!!!!

This is from the Info Center:

"There will be "robust editor support" for players who want to design their own maps and scenarios. "

and also:

"You can alter any terrain type to determine which resources can be found in that terrain type, and you can also manually place resources on your maps. "

So you will be able to design your own maps.

I also read this news and...
WOOOOO-HOOOOO!
I love making my own maps on Civ2 and the mouth waters at the thought of placing resources on your maps. This should allow for some much more detailed and accurate scenarios. No more grapes on the Pennines!

I love fidgeting around with unit a/d/m values, and also making new ones. The Editor is just gonna be fantastic!

-I'll add extra UU 4 Russians: the MIG (more movement than F15, equal attack, less defense)
-use Cossacks to represent Dragoons. I have no problem with the cossacks but not having that slick-looking MIG and dragoons is a little disappointing. :)

-I'll prob add another one for Americans: F-22. (If the CIV3 ppl makes 3-D graphic) I know that F-15s are legendary since i think none of them got shut down or something...but again, not having the F-22 Raptor is a slight disappointment.

-Add another one for the English: Dreadnought Battleship
I always thought that British Navy was probably the best until sometime after WWI, before WWII...I think they deserve a better unit.

Editor, here i come :D

I'm hoping for the ability to import a graphic to use as a template. Having a satellite photo for reference when I'm trying to recreate real life areas would be swell.

Good thing I can place resources on my own map...my "relieve-stress-by-killing-all" scenarios would be much easier this way:D
I'll just take a random map and give myself all the luxury/strategic resources...then!!! Whahahahahahahaha!!!!:crazyeyes
