First let me say, thanks for all of your help with my previos posts this site + your help has helped me start building my mod withought having to reload the game and with a minimum of frustration.

Having said that. I took all of the resouces out of the Conquests and placed them in the main game. All the recources on the map seem to have a pink edge around them. Im not sure whats causing this. Just a bad cut and paste mabye? I tried re-doing them to no avail. Any ideas?

Yeah, I'm not sure either what causes this. Firstly I must have to ask, have you tried the resources in the game or just in the editor? Because the editor sometimes makes pink frames around the resources, for unknown reasons (to me, at least), but in the game they are fine. So if you haven't tried this in the game, try it first and see the result.

Otherwise I have no strong idea. It must be something in the palette, but I don't know what it is if the magneta colors are the same in C3C resources and vanilla-CIV resources. So I can't help you nothing but to check the 256th (index) color from the palette: it should be the same in both resources.pcx 's.

Sometimes when editing graphics My pinks change colour.., and no-longer become transparant, maybe this is the problem, Just make sure that your colour pallette is 254 colours and make the last 2 colours bright green and bright pink... 00FF00 and FFFF00... thats what I allways do.

If you use photoshop it's the first two colours that should be magenta and green.
