and it's pissing me off. It's telling me to put in a CD when the CD IS IN THE DRIVE.
I've scoured through all these tech support pages, and doezens of people have the same problem, but nobody replied with any sort of solution.
I've checked the MS site. Nothing there.
I've checked the Atari site. Nothing there.
Can ANYBODY HELP!?

It's not that we can't help you, it has more to do with the fact that the forum rules restrict how we can help you. The problem that people are having is with the CD protection (at least for the most part), and while there are solutions to the problem, those solutions are against the guidelines. So as much some people would like to help you....

I also have the same problem.
And it's NOT because of my CD drive, or CD protection, or anything like that* because the CD worked before; now it's not working, with the same symptom as Yari. Oh, and I have the latest patch (and it's not because of the patch, considering it's worked with the patch). Any ideas?
*Well, maybe, but I don't see how.

That depends, when did it stop working and did anything else happen at that same time that might be causing an issue.

Yeah, I have the same problems as WillJ. It used to work, because I used to play it every single day.

Well, guys, I just now put the CD in again, and it works!
:hmm: I don't know what the problem could have been... Hope you can get yours to work too, C_Y.
Now that I think about it, I don't think I tried restarting the computer. And obviously the computer has been turned off and on since then. Maybe all it needed was a reboot.
