Alright, so here's my problem. I've got to write a quarter paper on political cartoons of the French Revolution; more specifically, either how they evolved or who they targetted. I've gone to the library but have come up with very few sources. My European history teacher has a "good" one but it's supposedly very very graphic. I was wondering if anyone has seen/heard of any books regarding my topic, and if there is any assistance anyone can offer me. I really appreciate the help guys. :)

Well, my teacher just gave me a horribly lewd one on caricatures and the like, but it should be useful to some extent. I only have three sources now. I need more.

Sorry Bend, don't know enough about the history of political cartoons to help you much. I found this page (http://chnm.gmu.edu/revolution/browse/images/) by doing a Google search; give it a try and see what comes up. You can source their references and see where that leads you.

Does your teacher have a fettish about horny Frenchmen being guillotined...?

lol, no, I doubt it. Thanks for the hlp guys. I already found that page and found it to be of limited help. I'm going to another library tomorrow and perhaps I will be more lucky.
