A long time back, I bought Civ III, and about the same time, I both lost the CD (ouch) and had a computer issue that required a formatting (double ouch). I got it back over in a state that was playable, but barely.
Problem is that I just got C3C. Thankfully it didn't need a CD to install (or it would have been a bad waste of 32 bucks), but it needs sounds to load. Sounds that apparently got lost in transfer
The one it's looking for right now is one in the sounds/build/ancient section, specifically when I try to play any of the Conquests. Is there any way to start & play the game without these sounds, or anywhere I could get them?
Thanks.
