Should we ratify the following Article of the Constitution. Note that although it is currently labeled Article L, the actual designation may be changed, depending upon the final text of the Constitution.

The constitution, laws and standards of Fanatika can never be contrary to the rules and regulations of the Civfanatics forums. Moderators may veto any such constitutional amendments, laws or standards.

Voted yes, this is a standard part of the constitution. I find it interesting that somebody voted against it, and it would be interesting to hear that person's opinion on this issue.

Just out of curiosity... If we voted to reject this clause, would that mean that we could write and pass laws that are contradictory to those of CFC?

I was thinking that myself. If we did, and acted upon them, I wonder how long it would take for a mod, or TF himself (!) to remind us just who is playing in who's house.

I've already been reminded about that, and it wasn't too pretty (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, see the posts marked July 7-9 and my subsequent three-day "vacation"). ;)

However, if we could get the mods to sign off on rejecting this (think Fionn's virtual bribes from the elections he ran in), then we could at least get away with violating CFC rules for a time. :evil:
