View Full Version : Best Attacker Utility (Excel)

This is something I created to see how varying the unit stats or HP in my mod would effect combat vs other units. It will list all the combinations from a 1hp 1 Attacker (e.g.- A 1hp Warrior) through a 6hp 24 Attacker (e.g.- A hypothetical super-elite modern armor).

It includes a sort function that sorts in probability of winning...

It is in a preliminary stage, as it was made for my own use, but it is very effective at determining which unit is superior in a given encounter. The relationship between HP and Attack value may surprise some...

For example, notice below that a 6hp Ancient Cavalry (3.2.2) is better than a 3hp Cavalry (6.3.3)...

Have you already seen the announcement of the C3C Beta Patch...
There are changes in the combat system, so then a 3HP Cavalry might be better than 6HP Ancient Cav.
In any case, you get new work...

Look in the help file under:

"Run a macro from a button or graphic control"

It is a several step process, but this is a good place to start... :D

Thanks for the info, I didn't notice it until I read it here. I believe now it is not in the beta patch. So all is well...
