Hello all,

I've been trying to create my first scenario and i would like to know if i've missed something out...

right...

i have the map & all start points are placed in the correct locations

placed the units into the art/units folder under the correct names

i've added unit icons to the units_32.pcx file

added the small/large pics to the Art\Civilopedia\Icons\units folder

i've modified the PediaIcons.txt so that everything relates to the correct entry after i deleted various city improvments

i've deleted various modern techs which i dont need for an ancient meditarranean scenario.

made sure that all the units, improvments + wonders become available with the right tech

imsure i've done more... it seems like a small list for a week of work... :(

anyway, making it is part of the fun :d

it would be nice if people could inform me of things that i've missed. or even clarify on things that i've done... anything to make sure its up to the task.

cheers :goodjob:

btw, its Civ3

Have you tried it? :p ;)
I've found that's the surest way to find all the things you've missed.
btw, it's also good to tell us whether it's vanilla civ3, PTW or C3C.

And welcome to CFC. :)

i have, everything worked fine... apart from one thing. the time it take to make a turn. by turn 45-50 everything slows down so much that i just gave up (im an impatient person). neverthless, i've un-installed the game and im playing NWN for a while...

this is how i work, a month of NWN, a month of action games and then a couple of months of CIVCTP or CIV 3.

Thanks for your help ;)

Did you allow different diplomatic agreements at about turn 45? I'm thinking about RoP and MPP's, primarily.

Maybe you should try playing on a smaller map. :p ;)
