This Poll is about whether we will let the opponents of the French (us!) be chosen randomly by the computer or chosing up to 3 of them ourselves. During the discussion for this topic several tribes were mentioned as possible "chosen" opponents. There will be 12 opponents for us to challenge in DG4. So we must decide - All Random or Mostly Random with some options we choose. There will be a second poll if Random is not the winner here. The second poll will determine the extra tribes chosen. Your options above will be:

I voted All Random, it seems like the only "real" way to do it.

I voted all Random too, but I voted to chose the environmental factors (Age, Climate, Temperature).

I've also voted All Random here, but like Cyc I think it's important that we select our environment.

I'm abstaining. It's the same for me which oponents we have, but if someone wants to choose someone, it's ok.

Not all opponents are equal in my opinion. I'd like to see Germany definitely in.

In the discussion, I said I wanted to have the English in. Should I be daring and be consistant? Yah. Consistant.

I realize the English are not a strong opponent and will probably get snuffed like they did late in the previous demogame. I just think that they will allow some good story lines for the CHD.

OTOH, If we go culture-linked-start off, they may not even be near us.

From my peek at the poll results, however, it is going to be random anyway.
