I played a recent game of Civilization 'Play The World', I realized, we need more types of Forbidden Palaces, so I decided to fix it and make 10 of them. :)

Hey, these are great. I really like all of your splashes, but I think my favorite one so far is the costal palace. keep up the great work and I'm looking foward to seeing more superb graphics from you.

I was talking about computerdude113 being mean, I was talking about the person who voted for poor quality..

I will definitely use one of these to replace the Forbidden Palace, the problem is which one to choose, I think I'll use the coastal palace. Who cares if it is not built on the coast.

Actually, I chose the other option, the poor quality one was already flagged when I voted. I was confused at that, but no I did not choose that one.

Do I need a building gfx for the building, or just the splash?

My favorite of these: the coastal palace. I'll probably use this, and the exiled palace as FP replacements. Just for the record, I voted great :goodjob:.

By the way, what program do you use to make these?

Very beutifull! Why dont you try to make the icons too? You just have to stick the model onto some grassland.

I tried the icon thing, it doesn't look that good (lighting reasons which I cannot modify). :(

Plus the inside ones, those are more walls, no outer pretty shell invovled.

Maybe you could post some upviews of some buildings, so someone else could try...

BTW, great splashes again, but you didn't forget the Hagia Sofia and others requested, right?:(

These are wonderful, and bldg gfx would simply mean more and better Improvement and Wonder options to choose from! (hint, hint ;) )

Just a slight problem with the Coastal (didn't try the others yet), some black points appear in game.

Yup :) I suppose it's sth with the last two colors of the palette. I'll check that when I'll have enough courage.

Hate to necropost in a few month old thread, but I like the modern palace splash enough to replace the current one used for Secret Police (which is just a generic forbidden palace splash). What steps do I have to endue to change it in the main game? Or do I just open the editior and replace the splash with the file name? :D

DEWD!! Your Wonder Splashes R0x0r!! Umm, mind if I use the Coastal palace as a splash for the "Zanarkand Dome" wonder in my FF mod (It's almost scary how closely your splash resembles that particular building:eek: )
