UPDATE 6 - 3400 B.C.

The people of the Mauryan Empire begin to grow rich off of a recently constructed trade route with Tibet and are happy. Due to a break in communications, a larger than planned force invades the Eastern barbarian tribe, nearly annhialating them.

In Germany, the Germans cross the border into Bohemia. The Bohemians, who had been panicking over prophecies of a Polish soothsayer had assembled mediocore defences, but nothing to stop the German onsluaght. The Frankreich refuses to become part of Germany, but offers a different proposal.

In Poland, the abovementioned soothsayer grows popular. More importantly are queer doings of the Polish goverment. The Poles have now almost completely surrounded Lithuania, both on land and on sea. The Lithuanians continue to increase their army cautiously, but have no idea that the recent uprisings in the South are anything more than a peasents revolt.

In Mongolia, the Mongols start a new wonder in their capital. In the outlying regions, the enemy barbarians fail to unify and quickly fall to the Mongols at an unprecedented pace.

In Greece, a political murder results in the rise of Philip to the throne. He quickly improves infrastructure in the nation, and increases the economy. Crete is now fully under the control of Athens, who otherwise lais dormant as it's neighbors expand.

Babylon's king converts to Judaism, which causes a scandal throughout the kingdom. Near Babylon many follow his example, but to the North in lands near Assyria, loyal worshipers of the ancient gods rebel and join Assyria, which declares war on Babylon.

Lydia goes broke, but this is offset by the completion of it's naval academy. The Lydian navy becomes the most feared in it's world. It's army, a force to be reckoned with, puts down two minor barbarian revolts.

Japan continues to thrive. The gods don't understand all the complicated place-names involved in the Shogun's orders, so the Japanese just end up invading everything in sight. They also settle two cities in the North.

Upper Egypt expands, far more than before due to the wheel. To the North, relations are back to normal with Lower Egypt, even though the border populaces are less than trusting of each other.

After a brief offensive, Israel controls the Sinai. This sets up a border with Lower Egypt who welcomes it's new neighbors. Roads are completed between Jericho and Tyre, boosting the trade route between the two nations.

The berbers increase economy by selling their few villages to the surrounding tribes and move Eastward towards Carthage. They make good ground but only because it's relatively flat and unhospitable.

The people of Brunei grow to be renown as mystics throughout the great island. Their king is slowly beginning to make them into a powerful kingdom, as they expand allong the coast of the isle, and establish the city of Sibu.

In Australia, the local civilization offers it's barbarian neighbors the opportunity to join them. Amazed by such civilized arts as writing, one of the tribes does, but the other two unite and vow to halt any further Aborigenee advance.

The srivijayan advance into Majapahit lands continues without mercy. The local populations are dragged off to Srivijayan lands for the king to do with them as they wish. The armies of the Majapahit are suffering major casualties at the hands of the superior Srivijayan forces.

The Khmer construct the city of Krung Thep in their Western lands. This greatly relieves the overcrowding of Angkor and the surrounding villages. Meanwhile, Khmer armies rush into the Mon lands, and begin their assault along with their Siamese neighbors.

The Romans make a final assault onto the Lombards, and finaly defeat their century-long enemies. There is much celebration in Rome as the Romans find themselves more powerful than ever before.

The Irish start a great wonder in the newly constructed town of Boru. It is said that upon it's completion they will be the most powerful kingdom in all the isles.

The Kievan Rus begins to worry when the Huns don't answer their messanger. In fact the messanger reports that the Huns seem to be readying themselves for war. Kievan armies are mobilized... but nobody can find the huns, who seem to have dissapeared. Days later, the report of a suspicious caravan of peasents reaches the king, and his armies go out to meet it. A great battle ensues, where the warlike Huns manage to defeat the smaller Kievan force. The Kievan Rus retreat, leaving part of their country to the mercy of the huns.

--------------------

From Frankreich
To Germany

We could not agree to that, but reestablishing an alliance and mutual protection pact would be good. I would offer you a marriage, but right now we both only have male offspring. Maybe later.

From Majapahit
To Srivijaya

We offer you peace in the form of 3 economy levels.

From Mon
To Siam and Khmer

We shall never forget this.

From Kievan Rus
To Huns

Please! Just leave our country alone and we will give you whatever sum of gold you want!

With the defeat of the Lombardians and the way cleared, it was time for the Romans to gain control of the whole of the Italian Peninsula. The Romans were extactic with only a small portion even knowing of any other civilizations; those who do know are far to the north near Celtica. For the most part Romans were gaining a superiority complex, bosing any non-romans around.

Increase Economy
Expand to fill the Italian Peninsula

Build road between Wilno and Warszawa.
*SECRET* Keep 1000 troops throughout Poland to make sure there are no rebellions and such.
Get 3900 troops to expand north (to completely surround Lithuania territorially).
Get 1000 troops to expand towards the south.
Keep enforcing the naval blockade of Lithuania. Turn back any and all Lithuanian ships. Don't shoot Lithuanian ships, just prevent them from leaving. If they ask why, say it's simply for their protection from "rogue pirate ships that are rumored to be treading the Baltic waters".
Send some more people across the Lithuanian border and incite either the people of Kaunas or the army units in Kaunas to start an armed uprising and kill the Lithuanian royals. Get a Polish person from Wilno to do it, as the Wilno Poles are somewhat similar in looks and accent to the Lithuanian Lithuanians.*SECRET*

3300 B.C.E.

The Romans continue to expand along the Italian peninsula, gaining full control of it. In the North, they encounter barbarian tribes in the Alpine regions. Across the sea, three islands remain unsettled.

In North Africa, the tiny nation of Carthage is seemingly reawakened under a new dynasty. A large donation of gold is made to the nearby barbars, but instead of forging a friendship the Carthaginians attack the next turn! Though stronger than the barbarians, their recently donated economy levels are making things far more difficult than it should be.

The remaining two berber nations are busy amongs themselves. The nomadic berbers have attacked their more civilized brothers of Mauretania, taking much of the Southern lands with which they are familiar with.

The Lydians enter a period of colonization. Their ships pass through Greek held posessions on their way to new lands. An expedition to Africa fails, but a small outpost called Ft. Persiseus is made on a land in the far West. Back home the city of Smyrna is established, but expansion routes are not deployed to the generals.

Meanwhile, Sicily is also settled by the other prominent Greek state; Athens. Their ships arrive s

In India, the mauryans easily take care of the nearby barbarian threat with a small contignent of troops. They then send the bulk of their army to a large collection of barbarian tribes in the South. After years of expansion through the jungles and plains, the Mauryans make contact with these barbarian lands.

In Japan, the Japanese conquer the bulk of the lawless lands after a series of brilliant military campaigns. Also, a new wonder is started in Kyoto, while work continues on the royal navy..

In Assyria the war with Babylon continues. The great Assyrian army is able to dig in against the Babylonians, while simutaneously expanding elsewhere. However most agree that if the Assyrians do not concentrate more on their Southern war, Babylon will eventually break Assyrian lines.

In Northeast Africa, the Egyptians have domesticated the Camel, which can be used for mounted combat, as well as transportation. They use this new beast to their advantage, blocking many of Lower Egypt's expansion routes. Lower Egypt emissaries are suspicious but say nothing.

In the Asian steppes, the Huns have overrun most of the Kievan Rus. Pillaging and looting the fields, all that remains of the once proud nation are some pasturelands in the South and the capital city, which has been under siege for several years now.

Likewise, the German conquest of Bohemia is almost complete as the ancient Polish soothsayer's prophecies appear close to coming true. The main city of Prague falls, while sporadic fighting continues throughout the rest of the country.

In Lithuania, a series of Lithuanian nobles have been murdered by masked assasins. Most of the accused seem to come from Wilno, and many Lithuanians begin to heavily discriminate against those sympathetic to the Poles. Lithuanian forces have succeeded in somewhat putting down the rebellions in Southern Lithuania.

There were still many thiefs on the marketplace, but his guards catched most thiefs and threw them into jail.

Germany was one of the strongest nations in the world now. It had a strong army, and a happy populace. It was a grand nation that had been the victor of many battles as of late. The Armies would continue to win and conquer the Bohemians. No one would stop the Germanic conquests!
In German Bohemia the people were treated fairly. The solders who were stationed at the border helped local villagers rebuild if their homes were damaged in war. The Bohemians would be completely integrated into German society. They would not become an oppressed minority.
Elsewhere throughout Germany the people continued to build grand homes and such in the cities, and the grand academy was still under construction. Once it was done the German military would have a magnificent home.

Orders:
