I voted for CivGeneral. I have full confidence in him to lead our military during its beginnings in Term 1 just as in Term 1 of the last DG and to begin our rise to military superiority. :D

CivGeneral has demonstrated the ability to confidently and competently handle the military troops during our first term.

I urge our citizens to support him, as I have.

(ill never win this election, but...)

All I can say is that I hope I can get something involving the military. Being the assistant to Civgeneral would b good enough for me. Vote for me if you wish, and I hope you do.

Sarevok, your confidence is overwhelming.

Tough choice, but I had to go with CG.

Thats it... Im dead as ive been lapped. Ill never show my skills at military affairs at this rate. I suppose Ill stay off military elections untill the Machine Gun is invented. Then ill be back ;)

Im in a sense dropping out of this election as I have no faith ill win it, if I do great, but I doubt it.

Don’t give up completely Sarevok, you may be losing 9-14(currently) in this election, but it’s Term 1 against CivGeneral so I think that’s a pretty good showing – if you don’t get it this time, you’ve shown yourself to be a serious contender. Make the most of the Deputy spot, be an active 2ic rather than just wait in the wings, and you’ll be well placed for next time.

im waiting for the late industrial-modern ages as that is where my true strategic might is. Its probably better for CG to be minister in the ancient age.

I was indeed being sarcastic. And I agree, you will be Minister of Defense later when CG gets distracted and wanders on to other things.

Next time I'll bet you will be OOZING with confidence. :)

I voted for you, Sarevok. :)

Much of the time it is just a matter of getting your name out there. Stay at it and participate in the discussions and you will be a war veteran in no time. ;)

I doubt that would happen. I wont get distracted and wander on. I will still be running for Minister of Defense :p.

i dont recall saying you werent good at those ages civgeneral. Still, you probably dont know who you are talking to concerning strategy. It dosent matter, Lets just say I have Worked on strategy quite intensively for a long time and I know how to fight WW1 and beyond style wars with a minimum casualty ratio of 4:1 in my favor.

Well I also know how to fight in a World War I and beyond style wars also. But now is not the time to discuss modern warfare

I have a few articles in Civ3 Strategy Articles though they are buried by now. You can dig them up if you like. They arent really good seeming when read, but when done correctly in civ3 they work marvelously.

ATTENTION ALL CITIZENS

Decisions are being made RIGHT NOW that will affect the Demogame. Specifically, the discussion about the ruleset is entering it's final stage. All sections of the Constitution have been ratified. Multiple sections of the Code of Laws and the Code of Standards are being ratified right now, the others are currently being discussed.

This is your chance to have a strong influence on the game. Please, vote in the ratification polls (after reading through the discussion thread!), and stop by the discussion threads of the open issues. We're a mostly (don't start will some of my twitchy subjects! ) friendly bunch. Ask your questions in the relevant threads, or bounce over to either of the Judicial nomination threads - most of the active ruleset authors are running for one Judicial office or another!.

Thanks!

you do well, but remember one thing: You were lucky that I was fairly unknown to all save DZ, Peri, and Boots. Next time the landslide will be mine.
