View Full Version : Industrial Munit of Joan of Arc
The Slayer Dec 30, 2003, 10:03 AM Well, following and continuing the great idea of frenchman, I have made this Munit. Sorry, she doesn't have specific era clothes.
Also there's no sound for this one, I don't know how to edit them.
Here you have Attack and Fortify gif previews of her. (they look better in Flicster ;) )
The unit includes: Attack, Fortify, Run, Default, Fidget, Death and Victory flics.
This is my first Munit, so be nice with me. ;)
Thank you.
Here's the link for the zip file:
Edit: retired to avoid copyright problems
Mobilize Jan 06, 2004, 02:29 AM Time to bring this forum into the new year. It's still stuck back in 2003.
I like this M-Unit the best out of all them I've seen.. for some weird reason. The Napoleonic units looks awesome and Joan looks like a guy so it looks pretty cool. Nice nice. :)
The Slayer Jan 06, 2004, 02:35 PM Thank you. I thinking I do Munits of her in ancient times (with the frank), and for modern, but..... which unit can I use for the modern ages?. There's ome french infantry over here?. I know about one. :(
Perhaps later or tomorrow you can have the Ancient version ;)
:)
trevor Jan 06, 2004, 08:06 PM Is there a way to remove the Guard Infantry animation from this? If, yes, there may be a problem with the units from Conquests thing.
If I'm wrong, then just disregard this.
The Slayer Jan 06, 2004, 08:33 PM Oh! :( .. I was hoping they doesn't had any problem...
anyway, I can redo this with the new unit... any suggestions?
:)
Mobilize Jan 11, 2004, 11:35 PM I would do her with the Frank, Norman Knight, or perhaps one of the new knights BeBro had just released.
The Slayer Jan 13, 2004, 05:12 PM Ok, I was a littel busy, but I just finished Joan Munit for Ancient ages.
I Want also to do thos new Bebro's Knights :b:

Gogf Jan 13, 2004, 05:18 PM Nice. I like it.
A Viking Yeti Jan 17, 2004, 10:27 PM Looks cool. Never thought about creating an munit with King units, hmm...
Gogf Jan 18, 2004, 10:39 AM This could be used in a Sengoku style scenario, where the king unit is one of the strongest.
A Viking Yeti Jan 18, 2004, 11:10 AM That'd be cool, but it would make it almost impossible to take a capital early on. Also, it would make the ancient regocide kinda useless. Still cool, though.
Gogf Jan 18, 2004, 11:17 AM Well, you could have there be an "Ancient King," and it would be like 3.3.1, and that upgrades to a 6.6.1 medieval king, and then onward. One question: how did they make it so that you can upgrade to a king in Sengoku, but you can't build them. You need to be allowed to make a unit to upgrade to it, and it can't have to do with resources...
A Viking Yeti Jan 20, 2004, 09:43 PM Make the king unit upgrade to the next. A king is just a normal unit with King AI strategy and ability checked right? Shouldn't be that hard.
Gogf Jan 23, 2004, 05:19 AM Yes, but in order to be able to upgrade to a unit, you need to be able to build that unit... and you can't build kings. So how did they do this in Sengonku?
frenchman Jan 23, 2004, 02:04 PM :D
Very nice !:goodjob:
I like it ... It doesn't matter for the Joan of Arc Clothes because she looks good like that with the two "franc warriors" ...
:)
Bluemofia Jan 26, 2004, 03:01 PM neat! but shouldent this joan of arc need to be paid because of the fact that she has throwing axe men as body guards?
douche_bag Nov 12, 2004, 03:24 PM does anyone know if there is an attack animation for king units like brennus or ragnar?instead of just moving there hands around
Ekmek Nov 12, 2004, 03:29 PM maybe if you ccreated a retinue of guards around the king it'd be cool...
kulade Nov 15, 2004, 07:16 PM I don't think you can make PTW/C3C munits due to copyrights. That's why this got removed. :yeah:
douche_bag Nov 15, 2004, 11:02 PM why would they care if you made mf units? youve already bought the game so what does it matter?
kulade Nov 17, 2004, 04:42 PM Who said the law was supposed to make sense?
You can make your own PTW/C3C MFs, you just can't distribute them. (Even for free)
