Trying to play my first GOTM. When I load #27 in Civ3 1.29 i get an error: .\Art\Units\eqWorker\eqWorker.INI

Does anyone have a suggestion on what the problem is?

Welcome to CFC and GOTM.

The most likely reason for the error is that you didn't read/follow the instructions and download all the game packs needed to configure Civ3 to play the game. Assuming you are playing on a PC, you need to install the full gotm 21 pack followed in sequence by the add-on packs for gotm22, 23, 24, 25.

Thanks for the quick response. I figured that out a few minutes after my post and am presently loading Pack 25. Thank God for my new cable modem.

Looking forward to playing my first GOTM. I've been stuck getting past Regent so this will be something of an experiment.

Good luck! GOTM was what kicked me out of the startup levels. I think you can do more if you know someone has play-tested the scenario and you *should* be able to play it. Knowing you will be able to compare your game with the top players, blow by blow, also makes you want to think harder about every turn.
