#turnchat is set up and ready to go for the Creation day chat tomorrow. You should be automatically voiced upon entry. Currently, DZ and myself are the primary ops, but since I know I can't make it tomorrow, I have asked Chieftess to op the president when he arrives. Mr. President, if you have any questions regarding commands, I believe Chieftess will be available in the #civfanatics room. You will need to register your nick to be made an op.

I will open a nominations thread for the 2 chat op positions that I believe we agreed upon at some point soon. If someone who enjoys writing laws more than I do would please codify the chat department, I would much appreciate it.

Yes. We have little control over #demogame because disorganizer is the room owner, and he is never around. You can still use it for discussions and such, but actual turnchats will be held in the new room.

You may well already be intending to do this, but I am new to chat and found the How to in the DG3 Chat Office Thread useful - it includes things such as how to register your nick (although I've not done that yet just in case it all goes wrong and I can't get in for the Creation Chat). Link below:

An updated one would be useful.

For now, I'll tell you you can type /help and find the necessary commands. I'll get the information together for a chat office thread in the near future.

Actually, as of recently #demogame was unregistered, however all users must part the channel before somebody can register it.

#turnchat is the room ? Fine by me. Thanks for letting us know in advance. I wouldn't like to be with only a small part of the citizens kicking off this game.

I assume I'll be opped, as president ?
