I'm new to GOTM, and I'd like to try the current GOTY. I have Civ 3 Conquests installed, and I'd like to play with PTW in the Open category. I have two questions: have I downloaded the correct files; and where do I install them?

I. First, have I downloaded everything? Does Conquests come with the correct versions of PTW? I've downloaded the following:

1. PTW GOTM21: the full PTW DL (gotm21_ptw_full.setup.exe) (the webpage says the file is 3.1M, but Windows explorer says it's 3847KB)
2. PTW GOTM22 add-on (.exe, 288KB)
3. PTW GOTM23 seemed to have no add-on, only a readme file -- did I miss something?
4. PTW GOTM24 add-on (.exe, 4991KB)
5. PTW GOTM25 add-on (.exe, 7113KB)
6. Nothing from GOTM26, right?
7. PTW GOTM27_open_zip (78KB zipped file)

II. Where do I install all this stuff? One source seemed to say I should download all the .exe files into the Civ III directory, not into the PTW folder. Is that right? And I assume I put the GOTM27 zip file into the PTW save folder?

Sorry for all the questions, but I want to make sure I've got this right.

Welcome to our competition.

I'm not 100% sure of the directory structure created when the conquests PTW install in created. However, I would be 99% sure that you should install to the main directory - certainly NOT the PTW directory.

The directory to install to will be the parent directory to the Civ3PTW directory. :)
