Talks of preferred time zones has already begun in this thread (http://cdgroup.org/forums/tbs/civ3/viewtopic.php?t=5519) at the UN. For some reason, our Team Captain has already made a ruling as to what time we can play the game:

I know that our hours would be 12pm to 6pm EST.

Are we okay with this option? Keep in mind that we may be allowed to deviate from this schedule somewhat. I do think that we should have a discussion here before announcing our final decision in the UN.

After this has been discussed for a bit, I can post a poll.

Personally, I would be hard-pressed to play the save at the time announced by our Team Captain. If it were shifted an hour or so later, it may work out better for me.

I would also like to hear from our European citizens that have a desire to play the save. Peri? Matrix? What time would work well for you?

If I were inclined to take on DP responsibilities (not saying that I am willing just yet) my available hours would be 10pm to 2am Mountain time (GMT-7), making it 0500 to 0900 GMT.

One thing about using AM/PM is that 12AM could be either noon or midnight and it's often hard to remember which. If 12pm is noon, the hours posted were 1200 to 1800 EST, only a 6 hour window, which doesn't seem quite right. I suspect it should have been 2400 to 1800 EST, and therefore 12pm is midnight, but will let our esteemed captain explain what the time window really was advertized to be.

My time window would be 1900-2300 weekdays, pretty much anytime weekends.

If I' have to play the save, it would be approx. 14 - 19 GMT. Varies depending on the day, though.

Well, I placed that window of hours based on looking at the MSDG activity. Personaly, I am open to any hours :).

Somewhere in my evening: 18:00-0:00 GMT. So actually what CivGeneral has already proposed is fine for me. :)

I'm the same as Matrix, although I almost definately won't be holding a position, so I don't really matter ;)
