Samwise Gamgee animated leaderhead

Download part 1 (2.8MB) (http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads6/Samwise_part_1.zip)
Download part 2 (2.6MB) (http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads6/Samwise_part_2.zip)

Edit: also download a small fix from post #18 (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=1595805#post1595805)

Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings. Made him for Lord of the Mods. Sorry about the large file size - as much as I tried, I couldn't make the files smaller.

He isn't era specific as the LotM doesn't require that. I may fool around with different clothes and backgrounds, but I'm not sure whether a guy looking like this could be the leader of any real civ.

The clothes may not satisfy the LoTR modders, but they fit in my mod perfect.:thumbsup:
Finally a Halfling Leader. Or Hin as some prefer to be called in the Five Shires.:)

I've been looking at the eyes in all moods with some regrets. Could've done better. Well, let's see if there will be an update at some point.

Cool!
My eyes have been known to get adrift like that, so I don't complain. ;)

But who knows, maybe Samwise really looked a bit like that? I mean, the eyes. :p

Very good job on the leaderhead Drift. :goodjob:

That look in his eyes suggests he might be smoking a little too much pipeweed. :smoke: ;)

Sorry to disappoint you, but no. I'm busy with my own project at the moment and with the uni studies in action again, will be so for some time.

Just noticed a small problem. One of the small victory pictures was a large one.

Just replace Sam_ANG.pcx from Art\Leaderheads\ with this new one. Sorry for the trouble.

Looks even better than the Firaxis! :goodjob:

I've been mostly away for long and it's nice to notice that old pals have stayed and improved meanwhile - makes me feel bit embarrassed, though.

Nice to see you mate. :) Are you making a comeback or just passing by? (And why are you feeling embarrassed? Because you haven't been around lately? Come on!)

Thanks about Samwise. I don't agree that he looks better than Firaxis leaderheads, but he is ok. I guess I found my thing with these leaderheads and such. I'm still at exactly the same level with improvements/wonders. :)

This work is astounding.

Drift, I take it this means you have now begun to make truely 3D leaderheads? If so perhaps you may be inclined to update your Ashurbanipal leaderhead, which I found useful anyway.

If not, keep up the good work anyway.

Sorry. I have currently my hands full with Master of Myrror. If I make leaderheads, they will be for that purpose.

Besides, Ashurbanipal would be too much for my Poser skills, too much props and that beard.
