Gogf Jan 11, 2004, 07:52 AM No opinions? :(
ArbitraryGuy Jan 11, 2004, 11:21 AM They look good, nice work. An opium wars scenario can be done now.
Gogf Jan 11, 2004, 11:47 AM You know, that's a pretty good idea.
Ankka Jan 11, 2004, 11:47 AM Yes, they looks very good, and a clever idea to compile them all. :goodjob:
Miracinonyx Jan 12, 2004, 08:50 AM EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hooray, tha's what I needed to find !!!
Thanks A LOT !!!
Don't you also happen to have a BIG detailed New World map? ;-)))
------------------------
off-topic: Wizard, Christianity does NOT denies evolution theory. They just are devoted to defferent subjects. Over-literal treatment of Bible may imply immature mind... :-)
Also, try to read the Pope enciclics - can be very interesting for you to discover Catholic ideas on the matter. LOL
Miracinonyx Jan 12, 2004, 08:52 AM Oh, i forgot - Gogrf, how do i add the combined resource list to a scenario like, say, Mesoamerica or Agre of Discoveries so that it could appear on the map in Editor and in game?
Krayzeenbk Jan 12, 2004, 10:19 AM Use the editor (check custom rules, edit resources, and add the extra resources).
Gogf Jan 12, 2004, 02:19 PM Okay, step one, back up the files civ3/conquests/art/resources, and civ3/conquests/art/resources_shadows (or something like that). Now, put mine where the old ones were. In the editor, go to edit rules, and then resources. Click add, and name it "Glass" (for example). Now select my icon (if you can't find my icon, something is wrong, and you should check back here), and then set how many food, shields, commerce it should have, where it can appear, etc. If you have any questions, or you don't understand this just ask.
Miracinonyx Jan 13, 2004, 02:10 AM Gogf, thanks a lot all works perfect :-)
Just one more question - can you blend your aggregate CivIIConquests resources and thoses by TETurkhan into one large table to be used all at anoce in one scenario?
He has done some excellent job with resources enrichment but it seems to take him an eternity to finish the Vercion 2 of his mode and not time was identified when to wait his new release... So could do that - many people would be vy grateful to you for such combined resources list. :-)
Gogf Jan 13, 2004, 05:51 AM Absolutely. I'll get it done somewhat soon.
Miracinonyx Jan 13, 2004, 10:53 AM Thant's great! thank you for your work :-)
10Seven Jan 14, 2004, 09:38 PM ummm which icon is opium?
Jabie Jan 15, 2004, 07:16 AM Excellent work. Up until now I'd be using the resources from PTW/Teturkhan for my mod but I was missing Stone and some other key resources. Thanks for all your efforts.
Gogf Jan 15, 2004, 07:37 AM @10Seven: the far right bottom.
@Jabie & Miracinonyx: I'm using the DyP (not TETurkhan, because they are the same, I think) resources to make a mega resource file. It will be done by the end of the month. It will include all of the resources for my Incan Civil War scenario (Guinea Pigs, potatos, peanuts, etc.), all of those that Boreas needs for his scenario (Latex, Stell, etc.), and all of those that LouLong needs for the Reconquista (Lemon, Orange, and Honey*). It will be large, but great. As well, I'm releasing another version with the normal civ3 resources, and mine, and Arne's, for those who don't like the DyP ones.
*Arne made the honey, I like his better than mine.
ocedius Jan 16, 2004, 02:06 PM Was thinking about compiling the natural resouces today, guess I won't have to now.
Thanx Gogf
Gogf Jan 17, 2004, 07:02 AM No problem. At some point this weekend I hope to release my mega-resource file, with about twenty (or more) addition resource.
kulade Jan 18, 2004, 02:23 PM What exactly is opium?
Dom Pedro II Jan 18, 2004, 02:26 PM Opium comes from the opium poppy flower and can be smoked or used to make a number of other drugs such as morphine and heroine.
