I was just thinking of funny acronyms for political parties, when I thought "Hey, this would make a good CFC Humour thread!" So, here you go.

Since I'm Canadian, I'll start off with a Canadian political party.

Conservative Party of Canada

Conservative Reform Alliance Party -- CRAP
Anti-Liberal Questionable Authoratitive Ethics and Decisions Alliance -- AL-QAEDA

Parties dealing with Giant Radioactive Monkeys and/or Invisible Cows

Giant Radio-Active Monkey Party -- GRAM Party
Over-Sized Anthropod and Mammalian Alliance -- OSAMA

I'd like to see some other interesting political party names.

The United Nations has an official for collecting and distributing funds to narrow the gap between first and third world nations, the Finance Undersecretary for Developing Global Equity, aka FUDGE.

Ironically, they always use their full name for some reason.

This is not an acronym, more of a well-known contradiction: the Progressive Conservative Party . . .
