Ok, here is my proposal...

Now, there is a Civ4 Ideas thread in the General Discussion, but what I don't like is that its more of a List, then a Discussion...

Everyone just posts either:

The same things are posted each time

or

People just post, no Discussion

I really would like a seperate Forum for this, once Civ4 comes out, it would turn into a discussion instead of Ideas.

Because when I post my idea, I would rather have some feedback! no one posts any feedback..

You could simply close the thread in the General Discussion (Let people copy and paste there ideas first ofcourse) and open up the new forum.

Well considering that:

A: We've already had this argument http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=71116 and

B: Civ4 I belive is not going to be released for a while and right now they are making the code for it or something like that/

But the thing is, the thread isnt enough! The thread is a list, not a discussion, no one talks about the ideas...

its not about Civ4 being released soon or not, thats why this forum would be for Ideas! then can be converted to a normal discussion later!

I do belive that Jesse said that any suggestions as of right now would not be helpful at this stage or something along those lines.

This has already been discussed at length between posters and moderators, between those who supported a IVrum and those who were against it.

The decision (and I believe it to be the correct one) was that a forum for IV would at this time be more spam than content. The ideas thread was a compromise, and a good one at that.

But... no one discusses in it! everyone just.. does a list.. want to discuss eachothers ideas...

That may be true, but as MarineCorps said, if the game developers aren't ready for actual in depth discussion yet, then there's no point.

There was a Civ3: Ideas Forum before it was released, you know...

IMO there should be a similar one for Civ IV, if for nothing else, then for just the point that this kind of threads wouldn't appear...
