I actually tried that...kinda. I took a fishing line and tied a walnut on but no squirrels came! :confused:

Harvard squirrels are really stupid and trusting of humans. I haven't seen it on the same scale anywhere else -- I doubt that same trick would work in many other places.

Why are they stupid? At least they get some peanuts. They won't ever find so fine food in nature.

Squirrel? That's just a furry little animal chasing something edible.

I get a lot of squirrels in my garden - when the dogs dont chase them away.

No, but my great, great grandfather who came from Germany liked to eat squirrel stew regularly. Sounds gross... but it's all relative.
