I'm running in Win2k and already replaced that .dll file, but I still don't have any sound with a soundblaster PCI64 sound card.

The absolute newest driver is actually worse and I lose sound even after I turn off the game and end up having to reinstall drivers to get sound back.

I'm using the Liveware 3.0 for 2k which uses file emu10k1f.sys build number 5.12.01.3107 which was updated in May 2001.

Does anyone have any thoughts or solutions??

P.S. How are the sounds?? Are they worth working for?

On the chance anyone else has this problem - I closed directCD in the icon tray and that gave me sound.

Go figure.
