It's nothing really bad, but can be a bit disconcerting. System specs:
Celeron 700
768 megs of RAM
Sound Blaster PCI 16bit
Whenever I go from the main entry screen to the game, it pops up a message stating the Leader and date and so forth. Until I hit 'ok', I get this continuous blast of static! I also get it sometimes when I'm running another program in the background and I alt-tab away to it (although this seems to have gone away recently). But I Always get it when going from the main screen to the game. Anybody else get a continuous blast of static during any part of the game? It's a small thing I can live with. I just wonder if it isn't indicative of a more serious problem.
