Um...... go DZ! :mischief: :D

If elected, I plan to work with the other two elected Governors to forge an active Senate.

Vote for Bacon! I haven't been that active in the DG, but, if elected, I'll become active again, and help out and contribute to the game in any way I can!

Gotta love these double header votes ;) I voted for Bacon, because I would like to see him become more active and because I think Will has first spot sewed up already.

I also considered voting for Strider so he could help will along, but I thought that might be a throw-a-way vote.

Will there be any runoffs for the top spot, since this race is so contested?

[party][dance] Go Will![dance][party]

The demogame needs fresh blood... :vampire:

I believe the rules cover any run-off election.

I was going to say that! We definitely need an active Senate.

By voting for Bacon, you will not only allow an old DG-er to get back in the Demogame (rejuvinated blood, just as good as fresh blood :D) you will also help make the senate become an active and useful place.

(:ack: 3 votes down from 2nd place... I hope I can make a comeback...)

Vote for me, the person who did not even earn his own vote!!!

Hey, my view on the matter is that i'll get elected because others want me in, not because I want in.

I want to make the senate a place whcih encourages discussion and represents truely the opinions of the people. I hope i 'll be able to represent the people, especially minority voices at all times, even if it means i might be going against the majority in the senate.

I think there may be another vote between them... you cant really have both...

If there is a tie for first place, there is no need for a second place.

The top two are elected, so there is no need for a runoff - Will and DZ are both elected At-Large Governors.

Come to think of it, what happens if we create new provinces this term; which at-large governor will become an active governor first?

2. Should a new province be formed in mid-term,
and an At-Large Governor exist, the At-Large
Governor receiving the most votes in support
during the election shall become the Provincial
Governor of the new province.
What happens if they are tied?

Good point, AJ Bootstoots. Maybe this calls for a duel at sunrise. Nah, then we'd just have to have another election anyways...:(

Looks like a run-off poll is called for.

I agree.

Well done Will and DZ!

Hopefully the two of you and Plexus will give us a dynamic Senate, fulfulling the potential many envisioned!

And this one was nearly a 3-way tie. Just hope there isn't a double run-off like the donsig-Strider election...
