When I start a new game i Conquets I get a file not found. The file that is missing is "art\animations\smolder\smolder.ini" When I tjeck my civ3/ptw/conquest directories none of them have the file smolder.ini I don't even have a smolder directory!

If you have this smolder directory, will you please email it to me at poulsen@privat.dk Or if you have another solution to the problem it will be very nice to hear from you.

Where you playing some type of modpack?

Nope. I just started conquest and selected "New game" Then after a few turns the load error appears. I have tried to start over again and again and now the load error sometimes says that a eruption.ini is missing.

However one of the new games worked with no problems (so far), very wierd:undecide:

You're apparently missing at least the .ini files for both of the volcano animations. The first time the RNG calls for a volcano to erupt (they usually smolder first) outside the fog of war, you get the error. Look around in your Conquests directory to see if your eruption and smolder folders (poetic :) ) were inadvertantly moved and put them where they belong. If they're not there, it'll probably be easiest to reinstall Conquests.
