View Full Version : The Last turnchat, Saturday January 31st 23:30 GMT = 18:30 EST/(6.30 pm)
Rik Meleet Jan 30, 2004, 02:03 AM I've scheduled the last turnchat, 30 minutes before the end of the term. Saturday January 31st 23:30 GMT = 18:30 EST/(6.30 pm) .
In this chat I welcome the newly elected candidates and say goodbye to the ones who are leaving, including me. I hand the baton over to zorven as President and if he desires he can continue the turnns.
I think of just doing the preturn, and let zorven take over.
Please post your instructions properly. If you couldn't give me the instructions that I needed this term, can you give them to zorven ?
Notice: no CET or RMT, because it's already Sunday for them and that is too confusing
Stuck_as_a_Mac Jan 30, 2004, 10:41 AM Make friends, but if you haven't noticed by now, I don't really care and I feel that this game has disolved to nothing but squabbling. I'll stick around, but just as a private citizen.
Bootstoots Jan 30, 2004, 07:24 PM If the turnchat stretches into Term 2, here are the instructions that I want zorven to use (effective at 0:00 GMT, Feb. 1)
Treaties: None this chat.
Embassies: No construction of embassies this chat.
War Declarations: None this chat, and if war is declared on us, please stop the chat.
Tribute Demands:
Reject a tribute demand if:
-More than 100 gold or 5 gold per turn is demanded or any amount that is greater than 60% of our treasury or would put us in a defecit of 4 gpt or more is demanded
-A technology is demanded
-Contacts are demanded
If a demand does not violate these guidelines, pay the tribute demand.
Other instructions:
Territory incursions: Please ask all nations that station troops in our territory to withdraw them when their troops appear in our territory. You may repeat this at intervals of 2 to 3 turns as necessary. Do not demand that any nations move troops or declare war. If what appears to be a possible invasion force arrives near a city, please stop the chat and we can determine what to do in the forums.
New contacts: It is not mandatory that the chat be stopped if we make a new contact. I would recommend, however, that the chat be stopped if a new contact provides a good trading possibility.
Plexus Jan 30, 2004, 11:33 PM Laborers
Vandelay: When population in Vandelay hits three, hire an entertainer from the North West.
Build Queues
Deux Rivières: Settler[3]->Temple(12)
Vandelay: Settler[10]->Settler(15)
Vo Mimbre: Spearman[2]->Temple(15)
DaveShack Jan 31, 2004, 03:07 AM Rik, how's this? :D
Build the new Iron town on the yellow spot from Chieftess's map. This was not polled, but there was only one dissenting voice during discussion. (it happened to be the outgoing President :p) If this chat gets cancelled or does not play any turns, then there may be sufficient time to poll, though it's not clear that a poll is really needed.

Set the new city build queue to Spear, Temple.
Under the authority of CoL B.2.e.7 "Monitor overall happiness of COUNTRY_NAME", the Internal Affairs ministry assumes control of that event according to the CoC. If a city is about to riot, or has rioted, and the slider and/or laborer instructions do not cover this event, the DP is authorized to adjust either the sliders, the laborer allocations, or both as needed to minimize the effects of civil unrest. The specific adjustments to make (raising lux, hiring specialists) are left to DP discretion. If more specific instructions are posted either by the Governor or the Senate, those instructions supercede this general instruction.
Rik Meleet Jan 31, 2004, 06:02 AM zorven has told me he won't play tonight. Then I'll not play in this TC. We'll have farewell/welcome party at the time of the TC, but no turns will be played.
Sarevok Jan 31, 2004, 01:23 PM alright, ill be there.
CivGeneral Jan 31, 2004, 01:49 PM IF the chats are being played. Here are my military instructions.
Continue exploring, this time Im letting the DP go where he feels needs to go.

Sorry, I'm running late for something...
After writing, research currency.
