Rumours are spreading through the town. The Mafia is coming. They’re taking over the town they say. This small village was always peaceful and now? What will the future bring? Will the Mafia succeed in taking over Taormina or will the law-abiding citizens prevail? Or…

Rules::
- No posting of relevant info during nights, no posting by dead people (no where, when dead, don't talk about the game)
- No editing of posts
- Only votes and unvotes in bold are counted.
- No more unvoting once lynch limit is reached. Lynching requires a simple majority of the votes.
- Quoting anyone is allowed, but quoting the moderator directly will get you killed (in the game ).
- In this variation of the Mafia game, all roles are given.
- When you are away for more than a 48 hours period, let me know either via pm or in the game thread. I then may choose to extend a deadline if needed, or declare that there may be no votes during that period.

You have nothing to go on the first day that is true, cast a random vote and work together, try to get someone to role-claim. If you want, I can start out with a night...

Seems like Sourboy is a nice target.

I'm not choosing anyones side here, but this would be a good time for sourboy to put up a defense. Also, don't just post because everyone has voted the same. Have the mafia jumped on sourboy because he had many votes and they could lynch him quickly? Or did the mafia refrain from voting because he's on of them? Or is it just that people are eager to get discussion going and all are clueless townies?

Lynch me, I bookmarked the last thread thinking the game was being played there (this was my first mafia game).

So I'm basically bowing out anyway.

I would think you'd naturally start at night though. Lynching someone before a crime is committed makes the lynching the initial crime and the mafia, more or less, the good guy.

Bacon King was on his way to the suburbs. He decided someone was worth a visit this night.
When he left downtown, the streets became darker. They alleys became more freighting, but he had a job to do, so he kept walking. When he arrived at Piedro’s Butchersshop he waited to light a cigarette. Suddenly he heard the sound of a gunshot, immediately followed by a sharp pain in his breast. He was shot! He tried to yell for help, but he couldn’t. After a few minutes 3 men walked up on him and one pulled a revolver out of his pocket, he aimed. Bacon King, the doctor, has been shot.

It is now: Day 2.

And when the night began to fall, people closed in on Ville, sure of his guilt. Ville tried to make them understand he was innocent, the people didn't believe him. Ville looked for a way out, there was none. He was standing on a bridge, from both sides people closed in on him. Ville, a townie, jumped off the bridge and killed himself.

Perfection and Wizard were playing some pool in Barney's restaurant when three men stepped inside. You know those types, evil look on their faces, they don't say anything they just stand there. For 5 minutes that is, they pulled out some pistols and started shooting. A few seconds later someone fell to the ground, Perfection, dead. Wizard started running, he opened the door, crossed the street, around the corner, but someone was waiting there. The man raised his gun and aimed. The distance was short, it was a sure hit. Wizard didn't even hear the blast because he was already dead when the sound reached him. 2 masons have died this night.
