Since I'm having slight problems with the game a.t.m., I'm reduced to playing around with the editor. Here's the result of the first two hours' fun. Since I don't have the game, I've no idea if it's interesting or not, but I hope you may glean some fun from it. It's an archipelagic system with
three bands of islands, two with almost continental-size ones and one without starting positions but with certain, er, key elements. There's also an obscene amount of coastal pirate activity.

I suppose it's pretty crap, but it'll have to do for a first effort. I need a minimap before I can do some with fictional backgrounds... I'll do Pern eventually, and possibly another Arrakis (it was easier in SMAC).

Unfortunately not. I can't get the game to work. If someone with the game can get a minimap shot of it (no idea how it looks), I'd be grateful.

I could get you a zoomed-in screenshot if you like, but I doubt it'll help much.

I can get the game to work, but there is no cheat mode in Civ3 and can't reveal the entire map. Civ3 is missing lots of features. :(

I really miss the cheat mode in Civ2. It was fun to set the player setting to no one and see the AIs killing each other... :flamedevi
