From the looks of it, Cyan Worlds has just ended (http://pc.ign.com/articles/490/490114p1.html) their newest, and possibly last, Myst game. I don't know if they can even recover from this after working on it for six years with no other projects. Guess Rand Miller's out of a job now. :(

Indeed, one less MMOG. Instead the developer will now sell you nicely-sized chunks in expansion packs. :D

Maybe this isn't the end after all....
