I recently discovered a Korean MMORPG. Surprisingly it's totally free. Absolutely. I couldn't believe my eyes, how the graphics look nice. I gave a shot and well.. I really liked it. Actually you might have troubles dowloading the client, since the ftp is located in Korea and seems always overloaded. The game has too much success and the 10 servers are always nearly full. But it's cool anyway, if you don't mind a big mess in the chat, with people talking Chinese, Spanish, German, Chinese, Vietnamese and all :D
Mu Online (http://www.muonline.com) is its name.

I'm also going to try Biosfear (http://biosfear.tiscali.co.uk) (the client is 1gig ack! :ack: ) Priston Tale (http://eng.pristontale.com) and Dofus (http://www.dofus.com). Dofus is really cute, it's written in Flash!
And if you want a list of free mmorpg, go here (http://www.onrpg.com/downcat3.html). There are really a lot of them, including some nice Zelda looking graphics MMORPG. Of course I repeat, all are free, like Secret of Mirage (http://www.secretsofmirage.com/port_ipsen_b.png)...

I hit a few games off onrpg.com, and so far I really like Fairyland. It's very cartoony, but runs great and seems to not have any bugs.

Fairyland is not as good though. I didn't like it.

Yeah it's starting to get really old. I guess it was more eye candy then actual gameplay (beyond newbie-land, anyway).

I'm always in Maya last server (non PvP) and the city is crowded. Tons of sale/buy announcements.

I don't play on the Maya server That's probably why. Yeah and I usualy try toget into a non PvP server when I can but it's okay if I don't. I haven't noticed any differences. even on PvP I don't ever get attacked, guess there aren't that many plaverkillers in that game.

You kidding. In maya, there are tons of them. They kill low level just for fun... Sadistic and stupid kids.

I tried numerous of these free MMORPG's but after awhile it gets boring because all you do is kill monsters level up get gold so you can buy better equipment, and kill bigger monsters so you can level up more and get beter equipment. it never ends

That game rather dull, infact its worst than D2LoD. Cant run, poor AIs sometime wonder what the hell is that monster doing? My first char was an elf and doing okay for 15mins until i shot a beetle, then i died lol. It has poor animation frames and couldnt tell how or what is hitting me so my guess that beetle was throwing javs at me or something (never seen anything).

Only limit visual range on your screen so that is not so great. GuildWars would blow this into pieces anyway. Yes GW is free to play online but unfort you have to buy the game.

Lol this thread still alive. I'm still playing too. Almost reaching lvl 300 by now with my wizard. I'm playing on maya servers only, if anybody needs stuff to start out

Actually I just started because of your thread. If you have any crap lying around I could some stuff as a Dark Knight. For a completely free game you can't complain. Game name is Deitykiler and I try to stay on the No pk server in Maya. Do you have a Magic Gladiator?

I do have starter stuffs yeah but you better check with gwaronsu. He also restarted a wizard, you should party both.
