Anyone have any advice for it? Achinz Feb 12, 2004, 11:38 PM I notice it's downloadable free from theunderdogs.org which gives it a favourable rating of 8.4 out of 10 and concludes: " It's a solid sim, although replay value is limited because many crises (e.g. 1986 Chernobyl disaster) do not vary from game to game. Recommended for everyone interested in cold-war era USSR or real-world politics." Worth a try. Re strategy have you done a Google search? Billville Feb 17, 2004, 11:00 AM It's pretty cool. You are the president of the USSR (either a hardliner, reformer, or nationalist) and have to set government spending, you position on issues, and deal with various crisises as they arise. It goes from 1985 until 2017. Also worth checking out are Hidden Agenda and Conflict: Middle East Political Simulator, both available on www.the-underdogs.org |
