All my cities stop growing at 12.. just wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Is there anything in the modern age that lets em do so?

one funny thing is after japan took my last city he told me All your base are belong to us.. hehe

You need to build a hospital in your city to grow beyond 12. You get this by researching medicine in the industrial age.

...except it's not "medicine" that you need to research, it's "Sanitation" :)

Yes it is Sanitation but you need Medicine to get to that...I think!

Hi! Yes, it's through Sanitation that you can build hospitals, and you need Medicine to research Sanitation. The biggest city I've built so far is a 38 size.:eek:
