In the year 2199 the people of Earth have been forced to live underground by heavily pollution on the surface. At the same time Earth is under bombardment by the evil dictators of the planet Gorgon. Salvation comes when a small spaceship crashes on Mars, containing a messenger from the planet Iskandair which offers Earth the substance Cosmo-DNX which will clear up the radiation on the surface. Also included are plans for a faster-than-light drive so that humanity can travel to Iskandair and obtain it. And so the people of Earth convert the rusting hulk of the WWII Japanese battleship Yamato into a powerful new space cruiser and set off. But it is a perilous journey beset at every step by the Gorgons.

Same here. I think I can use it as an upgrade from the Iowa Class BB when a Civ hits a certan tech (BTW, Im using the Iowa Class BB as a Modern Guided Missile Battleship)

civilleader I don't know, I found three models of the earth defence fleet, not enough of a mod :(, but I contact Jon Halter, which created wonderful 3D models, perhaps I get them to create a mod :)

Hmm. The guns of the SBB Yamato had more of a beam weapon effect to them. CAn you do it more like that. Also...no Wave Motion Cannon attack? :cry:

I have it, and it's a work of beauty. It's also in English but based on the original Japanese source material. (Yes, I know they used the Star Blazers name, but the actually DO call the ship the Yamato in this)
