If the host of a PBEM game creates the game using modded terrain such as a scenario like Rymes terrain v1.01 or has even just modded the standard c3c terrain via different roads or whatever, do the other players need these mods aswell?

i am not absolutely sure, but i think no, unless you have made changes which require updates to the pediaicons or other such things. while i cannot take on another game right now, i would be willing to do a test pbem w/ you where you can make soom echanges & we can start the game play a few rounds and verify if their are any problems and all changes took effect. of course whatever changes are made need to be available at start of game, for instance, changing the a/d/m of swordsmen would not be a good test, but changing a/d/m of warriors would. unless of course someone who actually knows for certain, no guesses please, wants to verify. i am interested in this same question because i have an idea for a game once i finish a few i am currently in.
