How does one set it up so that you can use trillian to connect to the CFC (or any) chatroom. I looked, but to be honest I'm not that familiar with IRC so I'm not sure what values to put where. Mostly, interested in the CFC chatroom, and perhaps someday others.

Well, in mIRC you type "/server irc.irc-chat.net", then "/join #Civfanatics" and I assume Trillian is something like that.

Tried that, didn't work.

Alright, open up Trillian. Go to IRC->Connection manager.

Select 'Add'.

Fill in the details like so.

Hit connect.

Go back to IRC, select join channel when it finishes connecting. Type "#civfanatics", press enter, and you'll be on your way.
